Job Description
The Physics Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for faculty positions in atomic and molecular physics, optical and laser physics, nuclear physics, and theoretical physics. Preference will be given to recent Ph.D. graduates or postdocs. The candidate will be expected to establish an independent research program and to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Significant funding is available to aid in establishing research programs.


Additional Information
Salary/Benefits: Two-year renewable contract. Competitive salaries based on qualifications and experience. Free furnished on-campus housing with free essential utilities and maintenance. The appointment includes the following additional benefits: air ticket/s to Dammam on appointment; annual repatriation air ticket/s for up to four persons; assistance with local tuition fees for school-age dependent children; local transportation allowance; two months’ paid summer leave; end-of-service gratuity. KFUPM campus is close to major shopping centers and the airport and has a range of facilities that include a medical and dental clinic, an extensive library, and a recreation center.
