Additional Salary Information: Selected participants will receive international airfare (departing from Houston), up to a $4,500 living stipend to be used in Japan, and program, most meals, and lodging costs associated with the Pre-Departure Orientation, Orientation Program in Tokyo, Mid-Program Meeting, and Re-Entry Program at Rice. In lieu of a program fee, participants will be required to enroll for at least one or up to three academic research credits through the Rice University Summer School. Participants will pay for all applicable tuition and fees individually direct to the summer school currently estimated at $985 per credit.
