The Physics Department at California State University – East Bay, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position beginning September 2017. Faculty teach a full range of undergraduate physics courses for both majors and non-majors. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics, a strong commitment to teaching and have a clear plan for an active research program involving undergraduate physics majors. Candidates working in astrophysics are especially encouraged to apply, although all areas of specialization will be considered.
