The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Clemson University (R1: Research University institution) seeks candidates to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Experimental Condensed Matter or Materials Physics at the Assistant Professor or higher level to begin August 15, 2017. The department currently hosts a strong condensed matter physics research program in semiconductors, magnetic materials, photonic materials, and nanomaterials. Preference will be given to candidates who can take advantage of the extensive electrical and thermal transport measurement and material synthesis capabilities that are already in place as a part of his/her startup package. Other outstanding candidates whose research is complementary to our other department strengths will also be considered.
