Old Dominion University is seeking two tenure-track Assistant Professors and one Assistant/Associate Professor to participate in an innovative and interdisciplinary Center for Cybersecurity Education and Research. We seek three faculty in any discipline related to cyber security to be a part of this initiative. The Assistant/Associate Professor position will be jointly appointed in an academic department and the Virginia Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation Center. The goal of the university’s cybersecurity initiative is to foster interdisciplinary research, education and outreach on cybersecurity. The interdisciplinary initiative currently includes faculty from a range of disciplines including Computer Science, Engineering, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Business, Information Technology, and Philosophy. Details about the initiative are available at https://www.odu.edu/ccser. We are especially interested in faculty able to conduct research and teach in an interdisciplinary environment. All three positions will be expected to be fully involved in this initiative.
