The Department of Physics at Grand Valley State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2017 in Experimental Physics. Any experimental area that will strengthen existing and/or broaden research activities in the department will be considered. Candidates must complete their Ph.D. in physics or closely related field by August 2017. They will have a demonstrated commitment to excellent undergraduate education, a clear plan for an active research program involving undergraduate physics majors, and should expect to participate in the service needs of the department.
