The Department of Physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in theoretical high-energy physics, cosmology, or particle astrophysics. The theory group is also part of the Santa Cruz Institute for Particle Physics (SCIPP), which also sustains strong experimental and observational efforts in particle physics, high-energy astrophysics, and cosmology.
Basic qualifications: a Ph.D. or equivalent foreign degree in physics or a closely related discipline and a demonstrated record of research and record of publications in theoretical high-energy physics, particle physics, and/or cosmology.
