The Physics Department at the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York, invites applications for a non-tenure track instructional clinical assistant professor position. The position is a 12-month, full-time position with a 3-year term, with possibility of renewal. The primary focus of the position will be teaching. During the academic year responsibilities of this position include teaching algebra and calculus-based introductory physics courses, lab sections, and upper-level courses for physics majors. In addition, the individual will be responsible for maintaining and updating lecture demonstration equipment as well as additional activities related to student advising and course assessment using data collected during the academic year.
Salary: $55-60K, depending on experience.
