The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is anticipating hiring multiple full-time tenure-track faculty at the ranks of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants must have earned Doctoral degrees in Computer Engineering, or closely related disciplines, and are required to have a record of quality research, teaching and scholarship. Specific disciplines such as Big Data, Security and Encryption, Internet of Things, Cyber Systems are of particular interest. Candidates with research reaching out across disciplines in areas such as Smart Cities, Digital Health, Smart Power, etc. are strongly encouraged. Successful applicants will collaborate with existing faculty members, teach classes to support the undergraduate and graduate programs, develop new courses, advise graduate students, and pursue external funding to support research in any area of Computer Engineering. Appointment to begin Fall 2017.
