The Institute for the Frontier of Attosecond Science and Technology (iFAST) invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure earning assistant scientist position in experimental attosecond AMO science. The successful candidate will be expected to make significant contributions to the efforts in developing the next generation attosecond light sources. Candidates must have a substantial record of research in femtosecond high power lasers, mid-infrared chirped pulse optical parametric amplifiers, attosecond x-ray pulse generation, characterization and applications. iFAST is dedicated to research, education and outreach of attosecond physics and optics. Its mission is to provide unique opportunities for faculty, scientists and students to closely collaborate on attosecond science research.
