St. Lawrence University invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in Physics to begin August 15, 2020.The successful candidate will teach introductory, intermediate and advanced level lecture and laboratory courses in the physics curriculum as appropriate. An ability to teach in our advanced lab curriculum is required, and the capacity to teach junior-level Electricity and Magnetism is preferred. It is our expectation that the successful candidate will start a research program that can involve senior research students. Applicants should have a deep commitment to undergraduate education in a liberal arts environment, and we hope the successful candidate will be excited about the opportunity to teach in St. Lawrence University’s First Year Program.
