Physics Faculty Positions at Syracuse University – Experimental Biophysics, Gravitational Wave Astronomy, and Quantum Information Science
The Syracuse University Department of Physics is seeking applicants for four tenure-track or tenured professorships that will complement existing excellence in biophysics, gravitational wave and multi-messenger astronomy, and quantum information science. The biophysics positions are integrated with the Bioinspired Syracuse Institute. The priority fields are cellular biophysics and innovative imaging. For astronomy, the priority is instrumentation of future gravitational-wave and related observatories. For quantum information science, both experimental and theoretical research foci will be considered.
