The Deep Science Fund seeks a creative, action-oriented, self-directed graduate student with a background in the areas of turbulent flow physics, drag reduction and/or active flow control to support an ongoing drag reduction commercialization effort. Your tasks may include:
Synthesizing recent literature and progress in areas of flow control/drag reduction
Evaluating drag reduction technology
Supporting the IV Business Team in their market analysis and business development efforts
Helping DSF senior management in project and startup oversight
The successful candidate will be a top-tier graduate student with an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautics, aeronautic engineering, or related field. Students who have completed their course work towards an advanced degree are preferred.
Start and end date are flexible for the right candidate. Location of the position is Bellevue, WA. Some travel may be required.
