RIKEN
Research FieldThe Center for Quantum Computing (tentative) is a new research center to be launched in April 2021. In the center, we will study quantum information theory, develop techniques for quantum control and measurement, build quantum computing hardware and software, and explore novel quantum technologies. We will promote the progress of quantum information science and contribute to society through the application of quantum technologies.
Our unit pursues the realization of scalable superconducting quantum computers and conducts research and development of three-dimensional integration of superconducting circuits, including quantum chips and peripheral circuits. We extend the design method of a quantum chip to that of the system level, ensuring the system having scalability and integrability. Job title and Job descriptionJob titlePostdoctoral Researcher or Research Scientist: a few positions Postdoctoral Researcher is defined as those who obtained a doctoral degree within the last 5 years. *The type of position will be decided based on applicant's ability, aptitude etc. Job descriptionThe successful candidates will work on research and development of superconducting quantum computers, particularly on three-dimensional integration of superconducting quantum circuits using flip-chip bonding and through-silicon vias.
