Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy

The Department of Physics and Astronomy anticipates an opening for a full-time one-year replacement with the possibility of renewal at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning August 2021. We are seeking an individual with a demonstrated background and strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level, with a Ph.D. in physics, applied physics, astronomy, astrophysics or related fields, preferred. The department currently has five full-time faculty members whose research interests include high-energy astrophysics, AMO physics, condensed matter physics, acoustics, and astronomy.
