Formulation Chemist - Staff Scientist / Research Scientist

We have an opening for a highly motivated Staff Scientist / Scientific Researcher to conduct research in all aspects of energetic materials formulations, including: energetic polymer composites, mixing, casting, novel methods for any of the aforementioned operations, polymer development, thermal and mechanical properties characterization, and novel formulations for conventional and additively manufactured fabrication processes. You will be an integral member of an interdisciplinary team responsible for conducting and supporting experiments to enable innovative technologies in high explosives manufacture and processing, as well as developing a deeper understanding of explosive chemistry and detonation phenomenon. This position is in the Functional Materials Synthesis and Integration group of the Materials Science Division. This position will be filled at either the SES.2 or SES.3 level depending on your qualifications.
