Materials Science Division Leader
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
We have an opening for a Division Leader (DL) to provide leadership, oversight and management of the Materials Science Division (MSD) staff that support the Laboratory's Programs, including Weapons and Complex Integration (WCI) including WTE, WPD, WCS and the Lifetime Extension Programs, NIF target, optics and material science development, Global Security programs including nonproliferation, energy security, and nuclear counterterrorism, as well as programs funded by the DOE Office of Science and various non-DOE sponsors. You will oversee an estimated ~$100M of programs and projects, including sponsored research, institutionally supported activities, and Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) projects. This position is in the Associate Director's Office within the Physical and Life Sciences Directorate. This position will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team.
