Experimental High Energy / Nuclear Physicist - Senior R&D Staff
Oak Ridge National Laboratory
Overview: The Physics Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory is seeking to fill a senior R&D position in the Fundamental Physics Section, Relativistic Nuclear Physics Group for work on experiments in ultra-relativistic nuclear collisions at the Large Hadron Collider and/or electron-ion reactions at the future Electron Ion Collider. This is a full-time position based on site at ORNL. Key activities include providing leadership within ORNL and within the scientific community in the analysis and publication of physics results from on-going experiments, operation of existing experimental systems, and development of detectors and physics programs for future experiments.
