Visiting Lecturer - Physics

The Department of Physics invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track Visiting Lecturer position for the 2021 – 22 academic year. The primary responsibility of the position is teaching introductory mechanics and electricity and magnetism in a studio setting that blends lectures and group work on problem-solving and experimentation. Requirements: Wellesley is a highly selective liberal arts college for women located 12 miles west of Boston. Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. We will start reviewing applications on March 1, 2020 and will continue until the position is filled.
