Assistant Professor of Physics (Tenure-Track)
The Department of Physics of Harvey Mudd College, one of the Claremont Colleges, has an opening for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level, beginning August 2022. The department (https://physics.hmc.edu/) has thirteen full-time members; we graduate about 20 physics majors each year, a majority of whom go on to Ph.D. programs in physics and related fields. We seek candidates with broad intellectual interests who can excel at teaching outstanding undergraduates and who can establish an active research program involving undergraduates.
