Senior Photonics Engineer
This is a full-time, senior level, product development position at Thorlabs-UFO (Ann Arbor, MI) a division of Thorlabs, Inc. The charter of UFO is to design, develop, and manufacture leading edge, high-speed photonics and opto-electronics products in concert with the broad technical base of Thorlabs’ other business units. This position is key in the conceptualization and development of new UFO products. UFO is committed to a customer-centered strategy, and is an active member of the Michigan photonics R&D community. Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to: Conceptualize and justify new product ideas; interact with Sales & Marketing function Prototype, develop, test & qualify new products for man
