Assistant Instructional Professional
The Department of Physics is accepting applications for an Assistant Instructional Professional position with an anticipated start date of February 2022. Assistant Instructional Professionals are considered full-time, fiscal-year (12-month), benefits-eligible employees with fixed-term appointments and no tenure implications, who teach four courses per semester under the guidance of the Associate Chair of Academics. The successful candidate will manage on-line and/or in-person laboratories and work as a member of the Physics Instructional Resource Team (PIRT) under the supervision of the PIRT Manager. Duties will include: providing materials to the students for general studies lab courses; training, support, and management of the teaching assistants and students for these courses;
