Post Doc / Visiting Scientist
The particle physics group at the University of Alabama invites applications for a postdoctoral position to work on the LZ project. The UA group is involved in AmLi calibrations (source fabrication, deployment, analysis and simulations), online and offline software (event building, event reconstruction and particle identification), and plans to contribute significantly to the operation of the detector and data analysis. We are looking for active, self-motivated researchers, interested in dark matter physics, with a background in experimental nuclear or particle physics. Experience in detector operation and development, data analysis (ROOT/Gaudi), and Monte Carlo simulations (Geant4) would be advantageous. Applications by entry level and more experienced candidates will be considered. Ca
