Post Doc / Visiting Scientist
We are looking for an active, self-motivated researcher with a background in experimental nuclear or particle physics. Experience with detectors based on liquefied noble gases/Liquid scintillator, and data analysis/simulation using Python/ROOT and GEANT4 would be a plus. The successful candidate will assist the Outer Detector (OD) operation and data analysis of the LZ dark matter experiment. In addition, the successful candidate will lead the R&D project on developing the new type of veto system for generation 3 dark matter and neutrino experiments, collaborating with Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). Travel to the research site is expected to assist the operation of the LZ detector (Sanford Underground Research Facilities) and performing measurements
