The Faculty of Science at the University of Zurich invites applications for the Assistant Professorship tenure track in Quantum Materials by Design. We are seeking talents in the field of experimental condensed matter physics, who create and / or probe specifically designed systems of quantum materials. Their fundamental research is led by envisioned applications in quantum simulation, quantum sensing, or future computing architectures and may encompass experimental techniques including, but not limited to focussed ion beam manipulation, digital growth of heterostructures, stacking of van der Waals materials, scanning probes of surfaces, and
