The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver invites applications from outstanding candidates for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in all fields of astronomy, astrophysics and physics, including but not limited to applied physics, astronomy, astrophysics, atomic molecular and optics physics, biophysics, condensed matter, gravitation, high energy or nuclear physics, medical physics and quantum information/quantum computing. We encourage applications from candidates across theory, observation, experiment, and computation. The successful candidates will create independent, internationally recognized research programs which complement the existing strengths of the department. The successful candidates will also be expected to teach
