The Physics Department at Auburn University announces the availability of a position in experimental fusion plasma physics at the Assistant Research Professor rank. The position will entail research and operations support for the Compact Toroidal Hybrid (CTH) experiment located at Auburn University. In addition to CTH duties, collaboration opportunities exist with the Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X) and DIII-D fusion facilities as part of already established research endeavors on those devices.
