The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Heidelberg University invites applications for a Full Professorship (W3) for Condensed Matter Physics (f/m/d) which will be located at the Kirchhoff Institute for Physics. The applicant's field of work should be in the area of fundamental research in experimental condensed matter physics. Connections to the existing research areas at the Kirchhoff Institute of Physics "Dynamics of complex condensed matter systems, solid-state based quantum technology and quantum optics, correlated electronic systems, the study of the physics of degenerate atomic Fermi and Bose gases, and the study of condensed matter at ultra-low temperatures" are welcomed. Both the systems studied and the methods used should compl
