We are seeking a Manager of Rights, Permissions and Licensing who will play a central role in developing and evolving AIP Publishing’s policies and positions with respect to rights and permissions, licensing content, and data privacy. This role is responsible for overseeing AIP Publishing’s compliance with all legal mandates and requirements regarding the collection and use of sensitive customer data.
This role will be responsible for:
Providing guidance on legal and compliance requirements on publishing issues, including ethical and integrity issues, contract review, and trademark renewals and registrations
Coordinating rights and permissions with publishing and society partners
Developing data privacy policies and practices that ensure regulatory compliance and are reasonable and fair

To be considered you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2+ years rights and permissions experience (e.g., permissions/rights clearance) required
Legal or paralegal experience preferred but not required
Experience in STM publishing industry preferred but not required
Additional details:
$65,000 - $70,000
Salary within the above posted range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience
Must reside within NY, NJ, CT, MD, VA, PA, MA, RI or Washington, DC. This is a remote opportunity.
