The Georgia College Department of Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy is seeking to fill a position at the level of non-tenure track lecturer (10 month academic schedule). This position will teach Introductory Physics courses as well as integrated physical science and serve as Laboratory Coordinator for the introductory physics laboratory. As a non-tenure track appointment with a primary focus on teaching, there is not a research expectation. The Department of Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy at Georgia College supports several facilities for our physics program including a machine shop. Educational Requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics.

Teaching experience in physics at the college level is preferred along with an ability to maintain internally developed physics lab materials and resources.
