Research Associate (PostDoc) – salary grade 13 TV – L Berliner Hochschulen part-time employment may be possible
Faculty II – Mathematics and Natural Sciences – Institute of Theoretical Physics Reference number: II-282/23 (starting at the earliest possible / limited until 30.11.2026 / closing date for applications 26/05/23)
Working field: Research on quantum algorithms for applications in quantum chemistry within the project "ATIQ: Trapped-Ion Quantum Computer for Applications – Quantum Gate Co-design for Quantum Chemistry Applications" funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
Requirements:
PhD in physics (or PhD must be obtained before the beginning of employment)
Detailed knowledge in quantum computing and/or quantum simulation
Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
