The Department of Physics at Stanford University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in any area of experimental physics or experimental astrophysics including new and growing subdisciplines of physics. Applicants should demonstrate the potential to build an outstanding, independent, research program at the forefront of these fields. The appointee should possess good communication skills and a commitment to teaching and mentoring. They will be expected to teach and advise an increasingly diverse cohort of students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
