Quantitative Metabolism - Postdoctoral Researcher

NOTE: This is a two-year Postdoctoral appointment with the possibility of extension to a maximum of three years. The Biosciences and Biotechnology Division (BBTD) of the Physical and Life Sciences (PLS) Directorate at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is seeking a candidate for a postdoctoral researcher position in the area of quantitative metabolism. The research will focus on developing methods for the quantitation of metabolic products and pathways in biological systems using radio-labeled precursors measured by Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS). Postdoctoral Researchers at LLNL should expect to continue to receive training in performing independent research that is complementary to the work of other members of their department, while also participating in multidisciplinary projects. The selected candidate will work with a dynamic interdisciplinary team of scientists and will report to the Human Health Sciences Group in the Biosciences and Biotechnology Division. Essential Duties
