Radiochemical Separations Scientist

We have an opening for a Research Scientist to conduct experimental radiochemistry R&D in support of the Stockpile Stewardship and post-detonation Technical Nuclear Forensic programs. The successful candidate will lead the development of novel radiochemical separation techniques using microfluidic platforms for nuclear forensics. This will include developing systems tailored towards rapid separation of radionuclides from various matrices, producing radioisotopes using neutron and charge-particle irradiation methods, and advancing accurate measurement techniques for radiochemical measurement in microfluidic devices. This position is in the Nuclear and Radiochemistry Group within the Nuclear and Chemical Sciences Division. In this role you will:
