Boundary Plasma Modeling, R&D Associate Staff Member
Overview: The Power Exhaust and Particle Control (PEPC) group of the Fusion Energy Division seeks applicants to perform boundary plasma modeling using the SOLPS-ITER transport code. The PEPC group carries out experimental and simulation work to develop power exhaust and particle control solutions and the accompanying physics basis for a fusion reactor. The group performs boundary plasma modeling for a number of current and planned fusion reactor facilities worldwide.
