Associate Research Physicist
PPPL has a postdoctoral position open in the area of computational plasma physics, to play a key role in tokamak applications and development of the Gkeyll code, which uses advanced discontinuous Galerkin algorithms to simulate plasmas with various levels of fidelity. We seek an energetic applicant who wants to be at the forefront of high-performance computing with applications to fusion energy research. The work supports DOE Scientific Discovery through Advanced Computing (SciDAC) projects, and other PPPL projects in US and international plasma physics research.
