The lab of Chris Weber, professor in the Department of Physics at Santa Clara University (SCU), seeks a postdoctoral researcher for a two-year position starting in 2022. The Weber lab explores the ultrafast electronic and phononic properties of solid-state quantum materials. The postdoc’s research projects, supported through an NSF grant, will include using coherent phonons for sub-picosecond control of the Dirac bands in topological semimetals. The postdoc will also mentor undergraduates in the research lab.
