We have an opening for an Associate Program Director (APD) to lead and manage the Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) Science section of the Weapons Physics and Design (WPD) program. The Inertial Confinement Fusion Science APD leads WPD's effort to obtain robust ignition and eventually high fusion yield in the laboratory in support of the Stockpile Stewardship Program. Your portfolio will include the development of theoretical and computational understanding and experimental data to address WPD's needs for platforms that generate significant fusion yield.
