Postdoctoral Positions in Quantum and Novel-Digital Circuits
Applications are being accepted for a postdoctoral research associate in quantum information science and novel-digital computing at the Laboratory for Physical Sciences (LPS). The LPS borders the University of Maryland in College Park (www.lps.umd.edu), and employment will be offered through the University. Each position will focus on one of two projects: one will use qubits and/or custom superconducting resonators to study individual two-level defects for quantum computing; the second will test fundamental limits of flux-quanta initiated dynamics in circuits and proposals for ballistic reversible logic gates. The projects have separate goals. Two-level defect studies can potentially advance the state of the art in qubit coherence. Fun
