Postdoctoral Position in the Theory of 2D Materials - MonArk NSF Quantum Foundry
The recently funded MonArk NSF Quantum Foundry is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to perform theoretical and/or computational work in the field of two-dimensional and layered materials under the Guidance of Salvador Barraza-Lopez and Martin Mosquera. Topics of interest include: (i) the coupling of optical properties and structure (including non-linear optical processes); (ii) ferroelectric and magnetic 2D and layered materials; and (iii) modeling of devices based on 2D materials. The Foundry has a strong experimental component, and a strong interaction of the Fellow with experimentalists is therefore expected. Funding for two years with a nationally-competitive salary is available. This is a 1-year appointment, renewable based on the need for the position, availability of funding, and con
