The Department of Physics at the University of Texas at Austin seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Theoretical Plasma Physics at the rank of Assistant Professor.  Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in Physics or in a related discipline. The successful candidate will have a record of accomplishments in magnetic fusion research that complement existing research at the Department’s Institute for Fusion Studies and will demonstrate interest in basic or other areas of plasma physics. Well-qualified candidates at a higher rank may also be considered.
