What You Will DoLos Alamos National Laboratory performs world-class research in high-energy-density physics (HEDP), inertial confinement fusion (ICF), and discovery science. The Applied and Fundamental Physics group (P-2) is seeking exceptional candidates for a Postdoctoral position on our HED hydrodynamics and turbulence projects.The HED hydrodynamics projects are focused on the study of fluid instability growth and transition to turbulence in HED systems. The projects emphasize how HED conditions may alter classical fluid dynamics and lead to improvements in our instability and turbulence models, which we use for ICF and astrophysical systems.
