Computational Plasma Physicist
Position: Computational Plasma PhysicistLocation: Richmond, BC, Canada / Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA / Culham (Oxford) UK Position Overview:As a member of the Applied Physics team, the Computational Plasma Physicist will help develop relevant and accurate computational models of the plasma dynamics in General Fusion’s Magnetized Target Fusion (MTF) compression architecture. The work will involve incorporating new physical effects into existing code or developing and testing new code. The successful candidate should also be familiar with computational and numerical methods in areas outside of plasma physics, including computational fluid dynamics.
