Position:        Thomson Scattering Scientist / Engineer Location:        Richmond, BC, Canada General Fusion (GF) is transforming how the world is energized by developing the first commercially viable fusion power plant. Fusion will deliver clean, safe and on-demand power at industrial scale, providing a powerful complement to renewables and a pathway to a zero-emission grid. Key performance requirements have been demonstrated at the system level, setting the stage for building the Fusion Demonstration Program (FDP), a pre-commercial fusion power prototype. The FDP is scheduled to begin operation in 2025 at the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy in the U.K. GF sees Magnetized Target Fusion (MTF) as a promising middle ground between ma
