Postdoc in computational neuroscience
The Institute of Neuroscience at the University of Oregon is accepting applications for a computational neuroscience postdoc to lead a project on uncovering the neural mechanisms of flexible behavior. This position is funded by the NIH BRAIN Initiative collaboration between the McCormick, Niell, Jaramillo and Mazzucato labs at University of Oregon and co-supervised by the Mazzucato and McCormick labs. The project aims at elucidating the whole-brain dynamics enabling flexible behavior in complex multisensory decision-making tasks. A successful candidate will use state-space models and multi-area recurrent network models to elucidate the activity and functional connectivity of cortical circuits from large datasets recorded in behaving mice
