Plasma Physics Post-Doctoral Researcher
What You Will Do Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to do cutting-edge plasma physics research? If the answer is “yes”, we encourage you to learn more about being a postdoctoral researcher working on the theory and application of Particle-In-Cell (PIC) kinetic modeling of high-intensity laser-plasma interactions. You will work with a cross-disciplinary R&D team of theoretical and experimental plasma physicists, engineers, diagnosticians, and target fabrication experts starting an exciting new project to develop novel laser-based MeV x-ray radiography systems. You will be running and applying high-performance large-scale VPIC simulations, MCNP neutral-particle transport simulations, and analytic theory to study the nonlinear dynamics of high-intensity sho
