Summary Fuse is on a mission to accelerate the world’s transition to fusion energy. We are building an impactful device that has the potential to be a positive, step function change for our species. We are just getting started, but already moving fast. When you come onboard Fuse as a Ignition Physicist you will develop the most thorough, theoretical understanding of the plasma as you design its thermo- and gas-dynamics trajectory towards ignition. You will use whatever tricks of the trade that exist, or invent them when needed, to wrangle the plasma to be burned. That being said, you will be joining Phase 1 of Fuse. Therefore, you will have the chance to wear all sorts of hats and learn a lot about different disciplines: plasma physics, mechanical
