Protein Engineering - Postdoctoral Researcher
NOTE: This is a two-year Postdoctoral appointment with the possibility of extension to a maximum of three years.We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to conduct research in the field of protein engineering and synthetic biology for the biosynthesis of DOE relevant compounds and biomaterials. You will actively participate in research to redesign proteins to achieve new biochemistries and to develop feasible engineered gene pathways toward production of relevant compounds. This position is in the Systems and Synthetic biology group in the Biosciences and Biotechnology Division.In this role you willConduct fundamental and applied research in microbial synthetic biology for the biosynthesis of DOE relevant compound
